Each entry in your notebook (or each flashcard you create) should contain the following information: the word you want to learn, a short definition in English, a translation in your native language, and a short example.
These are sample entries.

Please visit VOA Special English and choose at least one article to read.
- Choose five new vocabulary words and create entries for them in your vocabulary notebook. If you don't have a notebook yet, I will give you flashcards.
- In the comments section below, please write your name and the name of the article you read. Did you like the article? Why or why not?
- If you finish early, read another article! Reading is the most important thing you can do to increase your vocabulary.
